Scholarship Program

The Robert D. Pelletier American Legion Post 247 is proud to be a valued member of the community. Our American Legion has many outreach programs, among them is our Scholarship Program. Our Scholarship Program places an equal emphasis on vocational, academic, and athletic scholarships.

There will be two scholarhips awarded in each catagory, one each to a male and a female student graduating from High School at the end of each academic Senior school year.

If you are choosing a vocational career path our scholarships will provide assitance to the recipients to be used for furthering their education as well as for the purchase of tools and equipment necessary for the succes as they begin their journey.

Our academic scholarships are awarded in a more traditional manner to assist the recipients in defraying the cost of their higher education expenses.

While our athletic scholarships are focused and awarded based on athletic talent and academic eligibility.

Each year, the Legion facilitates the awarding of millions of dollars in scholarships to high school students.
